Here at the Sliding SL Ranch we use natural horsemanship methods to
train horses of all breeds and disciplines. We have experience training trail horses, gaited horses,
english and western show horses, and reining and cowhorses.

Training Rates:

Training & Pasture Board: $450/month

Training & Stall Board: $550/month

2009 Midwest Mustang Challenge

Siobhan & Renegade

Sliding SL Ranch trainer Siobhan O'Connell had 100 days to train two wild mustang mares for the 2009 Midwest Mustang Challenge.
Competing in and in hand obstacle course and a riding course at the Midwest Horse Fair
, Siobhan placed 20th and 22nd overall with her mustangs Renegade and Revolver.

Siobhan Started and Trained Maverick for Karen Brown and Judith Jorgenson, Summer 2008
Maverick ended the year in the Top 10 in the Nation, Half Welsh Western Pleasure. He was shown to this title by Judith's granddaughter, Nicole.

Dust Bowl Cash:

"Cash" is Cathy's cute grullo gelding. Together, they were the 2001 MN Foundation QH Club Versatility Champions.
Cathy and Cash has placed or won in Open Handy Ranch Horse, Reining, Working Ranch Horse, Ranch Horse Pleasure, Western Riding, Barrels and Poles.
He was also the 2000 MNFQH Club Reserve Champion Halter Gelding.
Today, Cash is the ranch's best lesson horse, and he has been shown WSCA by our lesson students to wins in western pleasure and horsemanship class.
